Cayuga, Indiana Ghost Tales


One would feel that there's nothing strange about Cayuga, Indiana, but this municipality is visited by the undeparted after the light of day has ended. The ghosts of this settlement don’t leave anyone unfrightened. Some local residents allege these descriptions are not true, but frightening things unquestionably go down here in Cayuga in the night time.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

The ghost of a man having half his head not there is regularly witnessed looking at the scenery at Chew Lake Dam at the stroke of midnight. One of the
 
    folks who live here determinedly says that this ghost is that of a local person who settled here in Cayuga many years ago.

The ghost of a young-looking female in a bloody prom dress is known to
  have been distinguished on several instances in Deadmans Hollow late at night flickering a lantern.

The ghost of a 10 foot enormous giant may frequently be observed by Horseshoe Bend contemplating.

The ghost of a female with half her head gone may be observed time and again throwing pieces of wood into the water at Jonathan Creek before dawn.

A lady having a knife in her head has sometimes been noticed in Russell M Duffin Nature Preserve at night hauling a body through some bushes. Several of the folks who live here claim this ghost takes pleasure in startling unwise people who are bold enough to upset the silence in Cayuga.
