The spirit of a civil war combatant has purportedly been observed on a few instances flinging pieces of wood into the water at Buckhorn Creek very late at night. One thing's for certain, this ghost unquestionably is scary; one that any normal person would not want to run into.
The phantom of an appallingly burned female can occasionally be observed in Lincoln State Park at midnight
