Anyone experience a haunting on Whitcomb Drive. When I was younger it got so bad; my family moved out of the house they remodeled.

As a teenager I lived on Accrusia Avenue in Clarksville, In. It was a nightmare. It started out innocent with whispers, shadows and uncomfortable feelings but over a 3-year period it became a living nightmare. On multiple occasions I woke up to deep scratches on my body that burned. Something pulled my toes while I tried to sleep. Things would be flying from shelves and cabinets. Everyone in my home has experienced pure terror. Towards the end we started seeing full on apparitions.

The best way to describe the man we continued to encounter was scary. It had shaggy hair and a distorted face to best describe it. At the time my mother, my grandmother, myself, and my son lived there. My grandmother was dying of brain cancer and also frightened by whatever was there. We had family in and out of the house helping us care for her, and nobody was willing to stay long due to this presence.

The night before my grandmother passed, my best friend was staying over and my aunt. It was around 1 am, and we were all in the living room when my very religious aunt said she saw a man keep his head around the corner. I was sitting closest to the door way and was scared to turn around. It peeped its head one more time and then stood in the doorway staring into the living room. This was a different man than I previously described. This man was bald and was wearing a leather like jacket with fringe sleeves. He had a very sharp face. He stood there for what felt like forever and then turned and walk straight into my grandmother's door. She was in a coma and passed the next day. Not sure if it was really an angel of death or another spirit in that home.

We moved out three weeks after my grandma passed. We were relieved to get out of there. I remember the feeling of doom pulling into the driveway every day. I hated that house. My mom actually worked with a guy she met some years later who told my mother he lived on the same street for close to fifty years. He knew of at least five people, not including my grandma who had passed in that home. Another funny thing, my grandma collected clowns. Her room was full of them. One of the men that died in the house before we moved in was a professional clown for 30 some odd years according to the neighbor.

You see crazy things like this on TV, but never once did I think something like this could really happen to me. It's been close to ten years since I've moved out of that house, but still hate to even think about it. Whoever moved out before us must have had a similar experience because when we moved in the house was totally empty, except the creepy picture of Mother Mary Tappedo to the wall under the basement steps. That was our warning.
