The ghost of a sturdy lumberjack grasping a sizeable axe has repeatedly been witnessed shining a kerosene lamp in the early morning hours before sunrise on a lawn in Columbia City. Several of the folks who live in this town claim this ghost loves frightening unwise people who come searching for ghosts in Columbia City.
