Ghosts of Union Soldiers have been heard at the home of the former John and Winnie Walker home on 2857 West Substation Rd. There are four soldiers that walk through the old part of the home saying they are going to get their horses. In that house there is also a raised part of the floor that lifts up that could have been used to hide slaves. This is in the fireplace room. Also in the fireplace room there has been a soldier seen warming his feet by the fireplace. Also in the fireplace room a woman has been seen period clothing in a black dress looking out the window. A young girl has been seen standing

at the picture window looking out like she's waiting for someone. At night at certain times of the year about 3 am when the moon is full lantern light can be seen down by the creek, those are said to
