Ghosts of Union Soldiers have been heard at the home of the former John and Winnie Walker home on 2857 West Substation Rd. There are four soldiers that walk through the old part of the home saying they are going to get their horses. In that house there is also a raised part of the floor that lifts up that could have been used to hide slaves. This is in the fireplace room. Also in the fireplace room there has been a soldier seen warming his feet by the fireplace. Also in the fireplace room a woman has been seen period clothing in a black dress looking out the window. A young girl has been seen standing

at the picture window looking out like she's waiting for someone. At night at certain times of the year about 3 am when the moon is full lantern light can be seen down by the creek, those are said to

be slaves escaping. In the back room in the old part of the house, when you open the door, you hear someone run up the steps to the loft, this is said to be Baker Martin the former owner of the home.

devil was observed in Boys Club Camp around midnight covering a cadaver by a large boulder. This spirit is incredibly active in this neighborhood; there have been numerous other stories of this particular
spirit. One thing's for guaranteed, it's undoubtedly a chilling ghost that should be left alone.
A female gripping her head under her arm has repeatedly been observed tossing chunks of concrete
into the current at Butlers Creek late at night.
The ghost of a gentleman with half his head gone is repeatedly seen by Manlove Park Dam at the stroke of midnight staring at the water. Some of
the people here argue this ghost loves scaring unwise folks who have the nerve to disturb the tranquility in Connersville.
A beheaded female has supposedly been distinguished on a small number
of occasions reading a magazine beside the water at Manlove Lake.
The ghost of a teen girl can be observed frequently in the rear seat of a Pontiac by the driver spotting the ghost in his rear
view mirror late in the night.
The ghost of a lady having half her head missing has every so often been made out by an old woman fishing by a lake near Connersville.
