The ghosts of this settlement don’t leave anyone unalarmed. People who have never spent a night in this settlement will tell you it's untrue, but everyone who dwells in Farmersburg is not alive. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The       phantom of an old cleaning lady has repeatedly been witnessed pulling a cadaver from the cold water of Busseron Creek around midnight. One thing's for guaranteed, this ghost certainly is terrifying; one   that is better not disrupted. A black as coal bat that turned into a female is often witnessed by Boyll Lake Dam before sunrise gazing at the water. The phantom of a homeless man may repeatedly be made out late in the night fluttering across Curry Prairie. Anyway, it's a menacing spirit that you don't want to encounter in the early morning hours. The ghost of a young cowboy can be witnessed frequently on the pinnacle of Sanford Hill late at night staring at the panorama. A creepy creature has once in a while been noticed on a Farmersburg residential street at midnight. In any case, it's undeniably a frightening ghost that any rational person wouldn't want to come across.
