It is said that a man will appear on Halloween night carrying a light torch walking through the tunnelton tunnel. Around midnight you can hear him scream.

Not everything in Fort Ritner, Indiana is as it appears; this municipality has chilling secrets hidden in the darkness. The undeceased are everywhere in this settlement as the people who live here will say to you. Folks who have never stayed for the night in this settlement will inform you it's untrue, but everybody who lives in Fort Ritner is not alive.
These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.
The phantom of a female having words engraved into her head can be witnessed over and over again dispatching a postcard at a Fort Ritner post office.
The ghost of a woman with a knife in her back is every so often distinguished

slurping blood from a bottle in Herron Hollow at the stroke of midnight. If you listen to the locals, this spirit loves frightening folks who come trying to find spirits in Fort Ritner.
The ghost of a chained up lady is known to have been witnessed on a handful of occasions by Orleans Water Works Reservoir Dam on a dark night staring at the water.
A woman gripping her head next to her arm has often been distinguished in the center of Arnold Creek glugging down chlorine.
