The ghost of a chained up guy may be made out repeatedly looking at the water by Shell Lake Dam at midnight. It has been claimed that this specific ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was murdered while journeying through Hillsdale   many years ago. The spirit of a young lady drenched in blood has now and then been observed grasping a human skull on the water's edge of Shell Lake. One thing's for certain, this phantom certainly is bloodcurdling; one that you do not want to run into before sunrise.
