You may perhaps feel that Hillsdale, Indiana is exactly equal to any other settlement in this country, but after the sun has set one may perhaps see some menacing things. There have been a lot of encounters with entities from another zone. Several folks who live here argue there are no phantoms, but the things that take place here in Hillsdale during the night will shock you.

A fairly translucent gentleman dressed as the skipper of a vessel has been perceived on a few instances at Big Raccoon Creek very late at night flinging chunks of concrete into the current. Several of the folks who live in this town claim this spirit is the stressed spirit of a long forgotten Hillsdale local.

The ghost of a chained up guy may be made out repeatedly looking at the water by Shell Lake Dam at midnight. It has been claimed that this specific ghost is the ghost of a visitor that was murdered while journeying through Hillsdale
