In 1993 me, my 2 children, and 2 other women, moved to a house on E. Morris St. In Indianapolis, Indiana. We lived there a total of 2 1/2 years. In the beginning we noticed nothing out of the ordinary but over time, things began to happen. At first it was even funny. The younger of my friends, I'll call her Brenda, was hearing us call her name when none of us said a word. We got a lot of laughs watching her come in and out of the room asking us who called her name.
After about 6 months Brenda got to laugh at me! I guess the ghost, entity, spirit, whatever you want to call it, decided it was time to bring me in on the joke! Late one night Brenda and I were sitting in the living room watching TV. Both of my kids and Sammy, were all asleep in the bedroom right off the living room. It was actually a family room that we changed into a large bedroom. Those 3 were too afraid to sleep in the upstairs room, even though I would've loved to have when I was a kid! Back to the story. Like I said, they all were asleep. I heard someone whistle. It sounded like it came from one of the kids. I knew it couldn't be them because my kids didn't know how to whistle. So now it was my turn to be laughed at.
For a while we didn't have anything noticeable happen. But we told some friends the things we experienced the first year, then more things began to happen. Up until the last incident, the rest of these may be out of order.
Our full blooded chow would sit facing a corner of a room and just sit there as if she was talking to someone. She didn't bark, it was like she was talking.
Brenda and I were up late one night, she was doing laundry. Brenda was a larger woman. She had been in and out of our laundry room many times that day already. She had just dumped clothing from the basket onto the loveseat so we could fold them. Then she turned around to go right back into the laundry room to start another load. Suddenly she called me to come into the kitchen. The only pathway into the laundry room was through the kitchen. The room she had just left from was now blocked by our refrigerator! Before dumping that basket onto the loveseat she was able to walk through there with the basket in front of her. Now the only way she could get through was to turn sideways and hold the basket above her head. The refrigerator was out 6 inches and over 6 inches from where it was! Once we put it back it stayed put.
