Well when I was in 7th grade I moved into a town about 6 miles away called north manchester. One night about dusk me and some buddies were riding our bikes behind the main view and shops downtown when we heard the same terrible cry I heard that night out at     laketon. The cry came from down along the eel river below the bridge on 114 and market street. Also I could smell it too. So ever since then I've always told stories of the eel river skunkape but the funny thing is there's a lot of people out there in Manchester that know of the skunkape and I've shared my story with people who have identical stories. The only real conclusion to why these damn skunkapes are up this far north is maybe because of over crowding and destruction of the everglades has forced these creatures to migrate north.
