I have lived in Lizton my whole life (mind you I am only 20) but my family and I have experienced the ghostly apparitions of children and the shadow figures on occasion. It has actually influenced me to investigate haunted areas in town and around Hendricks County.|

My family and I have only lived here for a few years. There has been a few times have have experienced something that has been going on in the house that we are now living in. Shortly after my mother-in-law had past I experienced a shadow person in the bedroom.
It's not like I have not seen shadow people before. At a different time I saw and other shadow person but this time this person ran across the bedroom. There was one evening I was sitting the living room watching TV when out of the corner of my eye is saw a little boy walking between the 2 chairs but this little boy of age 6-8 with a striped shirt and suspenders.|
I reached out thinking that it was my little boy but when I reached out no one was there and then he was gone. My husband had told me that Lizton had a influenza out breck at the turn of the 20th century and nearly wiped out the town.|
Before we moved to Lizton we lived in Danville in. Feb. 17 early morning I woke up seeing a shadow person move across the dining room to the hallway. My youngest son was only a few days old. I was startled by not afraid.

Comment by JFA: What your husband said is correct. It was actually a cholera outbreak that hit the town in the 1800s.
