I lived in a moble home in Loogootee back 2 years ago.Many strange things went on there.Like the sound of walking on wooden floors across the roof. Knocking on the walls,beds would shake for no reason at all. I always had a very uneasy feeling there.I asked the owner of the place if anyone ever said this place was haunted. He said that I wasn't the only one who ever asked that.The town of Loogootee is haunted. Many of my friends have had there own sighting and uneasy feelings in many homes and different places all around town. I am 53 years old now, and this story is God honest true.

When I was a child my family lived in a home on Oak St. (that has since been made into apartments). Anyway many weird things happened in said home in the short time we lived there, from lights coming on and off to voices and forms of people taking shape on the walls. sleep upstairs and our friends never stayed after dark. I've heard many stories about what haunts this house, from the soul of a lady who died there to the lady being killed by her husband after she killed her child for satan. I don't know for sure what haunts this place or why. But I do know for sure that when my family lived there many years ago

so did the soul of something. I haven't been back to Loogootee since we moved out of said house, so I don't know if anything like this has happened to anyone else , but I do know even today I wouldn't stay there !.

Once when I was little, this is why we moved, I was playing with my ball on the stairs and my mom told me to stop because it was getting on her nerves. Then, I went into my room and I heard my mom yell for me to come back down stairs. When I got down there she got on to me for throwing the ball down the stairs again. I said that I didn't and when we got done talking, we heard the ball bounce down stairs again. This time it wasn't me. Then, we heard a loud laughter and a streak of light go through the room.
