The Lynnville apartments that used to be the old Tecumseh high school has a ghost. It's a woman in a long white dress. She is not mean and she doesn't cause trouble. She just floats around between the hours of 11:00 pm and 3:00 am.|

Comment by Hannah: My aunt lived in these apartments back in 2017 or 2018. As soon as I walked in the building, I felt uneasy. The building just gave me weird vibes, and her apartment was creepy too. Luckily she only lived there for a few months, but I had no idea about the ghost, so now I'm going to ask her if she ever saw it.
When I was growing up the high school sat in the middle of town this building is now used as apartments. On church Street across from the school was a non-descript white house similar to many around town. An alley next to the house linked church St. To main St. This alley was a popular shortcut for kids to get to main St. Back then the high school had an open lunch policy. This house had always be deserted I could never think of a time when it was occupied. As my friends and I would pass bye we would look into the windows. The interior of the house was cluttered however it was still full of furniture. The house gave the impression that it was still occupied or that it's inhabitants had left in a hurry. Being children we were naturally curious so we had to get a look inside that house. The season was early fall so the weather was still pleasant.
My cousin Jamie my friend Gary and I were sleeping out in my backyard in a tent. Late that night around 3:00 am we snuck out of the tent and went to the house on church St. The house took on a more ominous appearance in the dark. The three of us circled the house looking for a means of entry but it was to nn luck every window and every door was securely locked. The three of us stood in the front yard feeling defeated. Being boys out on an adventure our spirit was beyond defeat so we decided to check out the house one more time before heading back to the tent. This time around we discovered to our disquiet that one of the front windows was not only unlocked it was partially open. Being the oldest and the unofficial leader of our expedition I was the first to climb into the window. Inside the darkness seemed even deeper and a cold fear took over my heart I knew that I was not alone in that room. I dove back out the window and took off running.
Several blocks later the others caught up to me demanding to know way I was running. To my dismay I had no good reason so summoning up my courage we returned to the house on church St. To find the window I had just climbed into shut and once again locked. This time I was not the only one that ran. That was the one and only time we tried to get into the house on church St. The house has since been demolished and a new house sits where it once stood.
