Madison, Indiana Ghost Tales - PAGE 2 In my grandmother's home, which is located in Milton,KY, her home was once a church, the home still has the old baptismal pool under what is now the bar room in the basement. My father and I have witnessed a female ghost in the kitchen this happened at the age of 11, she peered out of the kitchen windown, gazing out towards the Ohio River, which the home is facing. It is the large yellow brick home right past the old general store and across from the old flower shop. I visited it recently and told the new owners of this, and they were not surprised at all. I would love to have someone go investigate our old home. It is beautiful and 3 stories. Yes, I do truly believe that this home is haunted and I do love the paranormal. My brother worked this summer at the Meese building and had witnessed a shadow figure. I think my own home here in Madison is having some thing's going on. I went to Waverly Hills and every time I come back strange things' happen, as in orbs in just certain part of our home. We did the metal rods and they went crazy at       the site of the orbs. . Trapped miners died in one of the mine there and now the ghosts roam the streets looking for the bodys. early 1800's 7 miner died in the area.... Submitted by britain I PUT A VOICE RECORDER IN MY SONS ROOM AND CAUGHT SOMETHING ON IT. IT SOUNDS LIKE A SMALL CHILD YELLING OUT SOMETHING. MY CHILDREN WERE NOT HOME AND IT WAS ON ALL NIGHT WITH HIS DOOR SHUT. IT SOUNDS LIKE IT IS SAYING RUTH, BUT WE DON'T KNOW FOR SURE. WE HAVE HAD MANY OTHER STRANGE THINGS HAPPEN HERE. DOORS BANGING AND FOOSTEPS ABOVE US WHEN WE ARE IN THE CELLAR. STRANGE THINGS. I DON'T TELL LIES ABOUT THIS STUFF, MY HUSBAND IS IN DENIAL ABOUT IT AND IS VERY SCEPTICAL ABOUT IT.
