Martinsville, Indiana Ghost Tales    Every night between 3am and 6am we hear weird sounds, people talking, and doors shutting in our house. My name is Robert and one morning I thought I heard my girlfriend Michelle come in from work. She works 3rds at stake and shake. Well it was not her. I thought she said my name. But no one was there. So one day we were walking on the tracks behind our house. My dog precious was in the woods there. Well look at the pic and see yourself. They say people have died in this house. Someone died in that trailer in the back of the house.It was 11:00 pm and I started hearing noises from the kitchen area. First there was a lound bang, as if a glass cup was breaking. looking around, I saw nothing. then a bang on the fridge, then a series of creaks, like footsteps. I called my father and told him, and the noises stopped. The living dead are crawling over this town as the residents will say to you. Folks who have never stayed for a few days in this town will surely tell you it's lies, but everybody who resides in Martinsville is not alive. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a pregnant lady may every now and then be witnessed performing a song on a fiddle in a Martinsville building. A headless man has frequently       been distinguished in a mirror in a Martinsville apartment; the ghost was solely to be seen in the mirror. One thing is for guaranteed, this ghost undeniably is menacing; one that is rather not interrupted. A woman with her head and left arm and left leg amputated has been said to have been seen on one or two instances by Buckner Branch guzzling   soda pop. Residents who have distinguished this ghost claim this ghost is that of a local who settled here in Martinsville some time ago. In any event, it's a menacing ghost that you wouldn't wish to run into before sunrise. An armed forces outfit marching about lacking a body in it may regularly be noticed smoking a cigar beside a menacing towering tree in Morgan Monroe State Forest. The ghost of a severely burned lady may be witnessed very frequently at Bradford Wood Lake Dam around midnight enjoying the vista. Local people declare that this phantom takes pleasure in startling foolish folks who have the guts to disrupt the tranquility in Martinsville. The ghost of a gentleman having names engraved into his forehead has sometimes been perceived in Camp Riley on a dark night reading a newsletter. A woman who lives here alleges that this ghost loves startling foolish folks who come trying to find ghosts in Martinsville. Regardless of what folks express, it without a doubt is a frightening phantom that any commonsensical person would not want to come across.
