The ghost   of a youthful woman with a line around her neck is every now and then observed verbalizing into the night as if somebody else was there. An exceptionally menacing spirit has been said to have been observed on several occasions walking a Cocker Spaniel late in the night on a dark New Richmond lane. The ghost of an elderly prospector with a sizeable beard and a wooden left leg can now and then be noticed staring through mobile home windows in New Richmond in the early morning hours. A number of of the folks here allege this ghost is that of a resident who dwelled here in New Richmond a long time ago.
