While the sun is up you may very well imagine New Richmond, Indiana is exactly the same as any other settlement, but when the darkness of night commences; things get bloodcurdling. Ghosts are so average around here; loads of folks who live here don’t even lose sleep about it anymore. Disbelievers don't have faith in the local spirit accounts, but New Richmond is bursting with undeparted souls just waiting to spook you.

The phantom of an awfully mangled huntsman pulling a dead bear has occasionally been noticed sipping gasoline from a pump at a fueling station in New Richmond.

of a youthful woman with a line around her neck is every now and then observed verbalizing into the night as if somebody else was there.
An exceptionally menacing spirit has been said to have been observed on several occasions walking a Cocker Spaniel late in the night on a dark New Richmond lane.
The ghost of an elderly prospector with a sizeable beard and a wooden left leg can now and then be noticed staring through mobile home windows in New Richmond in the early morning hours. A number of of the folks here allege this ghost is that of a resident who dwelled here in New Richmond a long time ago.
