The Home was built by the late Perry mangus blankenship in the 1850's who also was the builder of the Morgan county court house. Many people have alleged hauntings or sightings of ghosts in the big house. But after living in the Home for several years I can honestly say that there are spirits sightings sounds knocking on Walls and doors     soft voices furniture and bed comforters moving electronic devices shutting on, and off (ie radio and TV) remotes controls moving around children walking fast and running in the upstairs hallway pet cat playing with child in upstairs hallway smells of certain perfums after shave cigars and pipe tobacco smell when no one is smoking seeing a candle light completely by itself and Many orbs in pictures. I believe completely that these ''ghosts'' are my relatives as well as the builder and his family that lived in the Home for Many years that have passed on from   (continued on the next page...)
