Seymour, Indiana Ghost Tales I have live in Seymour my whole life. I have heard of some of these ghosts. Most of them are false, but no one needs to know that. What they do need to know is that Jamestown apartments on the southeast side is indeed very very haunted! it is a little known fact that the entire complex was built on an Indian burial ground. I grew up her and have seen many ghosts the area. Most are even seen in broad daylight. Indians have been seen on the 2 playgrounds and in multiple apartments.There is also a place near Reddington where on a full moon you can see feet coming out of the hill next to a grave yard. I have personally seen this as well I live 2 miles from the spot. Lots of phantom accounts have been passed on by the residents. Not everybody has faith in the accounts the residents tell, but the phantoms of Seymour are out tonight searching for a       person to terrify. The ghost of a youthful female covered in blood was noticed ascending out from a manhole on a Seymour residential street late in the night. This is one of those ghosts that is perceived time and again around here. One of the local   residents steadfastly says that this ghost is the undeceased spirit of a former Seymour resident. A guy with a big hole through his upper body has often been seen pondering in Gaiser Park at midnight. No matter what, it's a terrifying ghost that you wouldn't wish to run into around midnight. A female's body having a bat's head is repeatedly witnessed nosing around in mailboxes in the early morning hours in Seymour. One thing's for sure, it undoubtedly is a creepy ghost that any sound person wouldn't wish to encounter. A man having the head of a beast is known to have been made out on frequent instances bass fishing from the shore of Peters Lake late in the night. Anyhow, this spirit unquestionably is terrifying; one that you shouldn't go trying to locate. A moderately decayed human cadaver can repeatedly be noticed hurling chunks of concrete into the flowing water at Buck Branch in the early morning hours before sunrise. A lady afire, grasping a gasoline container may be distinguished very often in a Seymour secondary school at night pacing the halls.
