The sour sound echoed through the dark room since the piano had not been tuned in years. As we left ''the gathering room'' as they called it and crossed back into the main foyer I stopped in my tracks and my stomach became sick. displayed a hanging noose. The lady downstairs was the only one working and my mother and I had been the only two upstairs, so I was shocked and confused.

I asked my mother ''do you see what I see, or am I imagining there is a hanging noose? '' She turned around and bolted down the stairs, scared but also emphatic about inquiring about the scary display. I pulled out my camera and snapped several pictures of the noose and the surrounding area. In a couple pictures we saw streaks of light fading into the picture of Julie, the one with the sad eyes, although I did not have my flash on. I did not know if a
