Vincennes, Indiana Ghost Tales | |
|
Purple head bridge, reportedly, you go to the purple head bridge on a rainy night, park your car or vehicle in the dead middle. (You'll know when you reach the middle.By the broken bar on the side) turn off your car and honk 3 times. Then flash your headlights three times. Look in your rearview mirror and you will see the floating 'purple' head coming towards you. Don't be alarmed. It's not harmful. But once you've seen it, it doesn't disappear until you've reached the curve at the end of the bridge, this is on an old toll bridge connecting Vincennes Indiana with Illinois. Going over the Wabash river. Even in the summertime, it appears that there is ice on the bridge. Making it VERY slick. Be cautious. I've personally witnessed this ghost. It's true. VERY true.
