Custom Search Walton, Indiana Ghost Sightings Walton PAGE 1   2     My mother and father moved into a 2 Story yellow House near Walton Indiana about 1956. She said there were no other houses nearby and it was surrounded by cornfields. My father worked at night and my mother would be alone with my brother who was a baby at the time. Many nights she would hear heavy footsteps coming up the Cement walkway onto the porch and stop at the front door. After a few moments it would go back     down the steps continue around the House and into the basement. My father happened to be at Home one night and hearing the footsteps went into the basement and found nothing. On another occasion as she lay in bed at night a ''ball of fire'' as she described it came floating by the window. Of course she was paralyzed with fear. After staying there a year or so they moved back to South Carolina. I was wondering if any of the locals knew of this house? As she can't remember the address.
