found two old softballs, the very first Louisville baseball bat, and an old black and white cloudy picture. He had done research and said they called the man in the picture ''Old Man Walton''. My father still has all of those items.
I can go on about that neighborhood and homes. Two children from my era in that neighborhood have died. I'm only 48 now, and I remember all events clearly. The home on East Grace Street was my home for 14 years,
so no one can say spirits are not real. I know for a fact they do.|
Who else has their story to tell about Grace Street in Walton. My ancestry goes
way back. I want to hear.|

I grew up in a house near SR 18 and County Rd 700 E in Galveston, IN. The first strange occurrence I remember happened when I was a young child. I woke up to tapping on my window which scared me since we were in the middle of the country, and we had no neighbors next door. I was frozen in fear staring at the top shelf of my closet which was open. My mom had given me a blow-up ghost with glow in the dark eyes that I was fixated on. The ghost fell off the shelf. Through the years I had lights mounted over my bed that would fall off near my head. I had heard footsteps on the stairs and through the hallways. I also had a music box that would play by itself (without being opened, and my mom said it never worked. ) Anytime I would get my mom to witness the music box it would stop playing as soon as she came near.
One of my last experiences in the house (before I moved shortly after) involved a friend who stayed the night when I was a teenager. I did not have to say anything. She heard the footsteps up the stairs and through the hallways as clearly as I did. She was so scared. In fact, she demanded that we go to her place to stay that night. The next morning I came back to my house. My father raised livestock. There was a dead lamb outside of the fence in the yard. Somehow the lamb wound up dead on the other side of the fence. To this day I do not know what kind of creature would be capable of getting a lamb over a barb-wired fence. This last experience happened 16 years ago. I moved out of state and have lived in several residences, but I have never experienced any paranormal activity since.
