Young Family Funeral Home. Although I can find absolutely nothing about the history of this site, I have heard and seen many things that strongly suggest that this is a haunted site. The most recent and incriminating is a scream from the basement. I'm concerned that this spirit is escalating, and I would like to know if anyone has any kind of info on this site, for example, stories or urban legends even of the houses surrounding this old home. My house I am living in has a story well known but many in town refuse to call it true. They say this cop and his family (wife, children, and police dog) once lived there. The cop came home one night from work and shot his wife, two kids, and dog.
He then called 911 saying that his family was dead. As the police were on their way the cop shot himself as well. I have two dogs who bark constantly at nothing inside and outside of the house and I know well enough that animals tend to act strange for many reasons so I never really worried about it.
And every few nights when I'm home alone my dad went off somewhere and my stepmom took my sister and the dogs for a drive around town. I would always hear this faint dog barking angrily. Now my neighbors do have dogs but if they were barking I would be able to hear it clear as day because our houses are so close together.
