My boyfriend and I lived on Belmont Street. Which is right across the street from the cemetary on Belmont street. We moved in in July of 08 and stayed until June of 09. In our stay, we witnessed alot of activity. There were lots of what sounded like muffeled screams, whispers, hissing, and knocking and banging. No one wanted to ever stay here alone. I couldn't sleep if he wasn't home and he was the same way if I was gone working night shift. The cabinet doors were always opening by themselves. The water

would turn on by itself and the toilet would flush on its own. We saw shadowy figures quite a bit and heard our names called quite often. The kitchen was downstairs, it was called a summer's kitchen. It was not a great area. I hated to be down there by myself but found myself drawn to it anyway. This house is very active especially around late August

While walking near Ashland Cemetery in early spring, I was touched on the arm by an unseen presence. I searched in vain for bugs, fallen debris, or any other item that could have explained it, but I found nothing. . Submitted by Mike Category: cemetery
Most of the folks who live here in Ashland, Kentucky are happily uninformed of the horrific secrets this town possesses; not a hundred percent of the residents of this town are really alive. Some of the dead decline to stay in their graves in this municipality. Folks who have never stayed for the night in this municipality will tell you it's untrue, but Ashland is packed with tormented spirits just waiting to give you a good scare.
