Bowling Green, Kentucky Ghost Tales | |

This was back in the days when I attended Western Kentucky University (2000)and I was living on E 14th Street. That was an afternoon after I came back from volunteering at Kentucky Folk Festival. I was really exhausted, so I went to bed and immediately fall in sleep. After about a couple of hours I woke up and looked around. I could clearly see the stuff in my room. Then I saw this women, dress in white robe, standing by my bed. She has long and black hair and hair concealed her face so I couldn't tell how she looks. All I can remember is she was very very thin. She climbed onto my bed and laid down next to me. I could feel her body against me. I tried to move my body but I couldn't move even one muscle. Then I heard this voice inside me telling me that I needed to move otherwise I would die. I actually had similar experiences before when I woke up but couldn't move and I knew I need to get a part of my body to move. Then I would free myself. So I concentrated all my energy on my little finger. Finally it moved a little bit, and I broke

free. The woman disappearred imediately. The next day I woke up with a swollen left eye and had to have surgery later to remove excessive fluid in my eye lid...
I told my experience to one of my roommates. An old lady who had lived in the house for very long time. She said that she had encountered ghost in the house before.

the empty room upstair in the following day. The room was smaller but had a window and was full of daylight (the room in which I encountered the woman was downstair and had no window) and had no more event after that. . Submitted by Chennie Categories: gome, lady
As far as I know, the rumor about the ghost of Richardsville Rd. is not true. You can put your car in neutral at the start of the bridge, any time of day, and you will roll across and down the road. This is due to the fact that the bridge is slightly sloped. Sorry everyone. I know you were hoping for a ghost. Maybe try Middle Bridge Rd. I heard it is one of the most haunted places in KY. I wanted to check out Old Richardsville Rd. bridge one night. With a couple friends, I went to see if my car would really roll across the bridge with the car in neutral as I have heard it would. When we got there I parked my car in the middle and

put it in neutral and waited for about 10 minutes or so while chatting with my friends. All of the sudden my car started to roll, once I realized this, I floored it all the way to the end of the road. I don't know if this was because the bridge might have been sloped a little or what but if it was, why would my car wait so long to move? ... makes you ponder a bit.
