Covington, Kentucky Ghost Tales | |
|
My apartmentis haunted. I lived there and before I moved in a lady died there of cm poison and without knowing anything about this I woke up multiple times thinking I had cm poison. My sons were only 3 and 1 when I lived there and they always saw a ghost in the bathroom. They said his name was Guy and he would always scare them. The lady there would hide things, throw off weird smells. And I had bad luck until I moved. Submitted by Shirley Categories: apartment, poisoning
The John R. Green building is believed to have ghosts. Workers there have claimed to see a little boy dressed in period clothing in the warehouse scaffolding thinking a child wandered in off the street the worker tried to stop him and when she got to the end of the walkway he was gone. Two other workers were in the store of the building and heard a woman with heals on walk across the wooden floor, heard the door creek open but didn't hear them go out the front door, the building was checked and no one was there and there

United States of America, but this town belongs to stressed ghosts of yesteryear. There have been a lot of happenings with spirits from the other side. A number of folks who live here allege these tales are untrue, but there really are terrifying things going down here in Covington in the moonlight hours.
These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.
A menacing beast has been spotted on frequent instances in Devou Park late in the night pulling a corpse over rocks. One of the locals strongly alleges that this spirit is the undead soul of a former Covington person who lived here.
The spirit of a silver-miner may every now and then be distinguished yelling names on the shore of Mirror Lake.
The ghost of a man clothed as a gas station attendant has frequently been observed mid stream in Banklick Creek turning toward the watcher.
A lady with a fairly see-through body is often perceived yelling at the watcher to disappear beneath a frightening giant tree in Authors Grove.

In any case, this ghost sure is menacing; one that any rational person wouldn't wish to run into.
