I had heard all kinds of stories & ghost stories, but I dismissed them as total BS and other soldiers trying to scare the new recruit. On the second night, some of the guys were talking about things they had seen and heard. I was laying across the top of one of the bunk beds,     listening, when suddenly the light directly above me turned off then a second later turned back on. All of the other guys were looking up at me when the same light started quickly going on and off. After about six or seven times, it stopped and the string was swaying back and forth. There's NO WAY anyone of the other guys could have been pulling the string without my knowing it. The next day we saw & heard the door knobs being quickly turned, down the hallway connecting our two sleeping areas/bays.
