I was stationed at Ft. Campbell in the early 1980s and I attended the primary NCO Academy which was in the old army hospital that Blanchfield replaced. At night we were assigned chores and it being a sprawling complex often times you would be alone mopping, waxing, scrubbing in a wing all by yourself. Often I heard voices and doors opening and closing while being all alone. Never saw anything visually, but sound wise it was a very active

Figure I would give you an update on the situation even though it's close to 6 years later. I took the recording from your wife's voicemail (previous post) home and attempted to pull any voices or audible words from it. Shortly after I began researching it my wife and I began having very strange occurrences take place in our apartment. Our dog would freak out and not go in certain rooms or areas of the apartment. On two occasions I was held down in bed by an invisible force. My wife rolled over in bed, and there was a floating black object directly above her face. We would smell certain foul smells throughout the apartment.
The most notable incident happened when my cell phone called my wife on its own. I was getting ready for my patrol shift, and my phone was on the coffee table. My wife was on post pulling CQ. After getting ready I had several missed calls from my wife. When I finally called her back she asked me if I had my phone on me while I was getting ready for work. My phone called her, and the same disembodied voice was speaking to her. She had some other people at the CQ desk witness the call. This freaked me out as I was in the apartment when this thing called her. We decided from that point to not discuss it anymore and put no attention into the entity. All occurrences eventually stopped. This was a truly insane experience from the initial call to your residence to the ending. Submitted by MP who responded

Cs79, ghosts are all over the place in Ft Campbell. My daughter and I used to clean houses on post and we've found interesting situations and at times scary. You guys are not just hearing things, they're there.
