Fort Knox, Kentucky Ghost Sightings
Fort Knox has a house on 8th Avenue that is for real haunted. Check out all the stories. Even on google maps/earth you can't see the house. The trees cover it as if to cradle the evil within. Only house in that neighborhood like that. Feels colder darker and gloomier than any other house.|

Back in 2016 I was staying in Yeoman Hall facing Spearhead Division Road. I am retired from the army now, but those that know understand that Yeoman Hall is a DVQ. A person at my rank and experience doesn't scare easily. That night around 0015 I heard a horrible scream and smelled like a bad pork roast from outside. I looked out my window. Across the street in the middle of the field was a man screaming on fire running towards the houses. I put on my flip flops and ran down the center stairwell and out the front door. The smell was gone, and the screaming stopped. I walked across the street in nothing but flip flops, pt shorts, and a tan t-shirt.
I crossed the street, crossed the field, and expected to find a dead burnt man. There was nothing but a dark house with two back porches, a yellow car, and a grill. Normal back yard. I turned around to go back to bed, and right in my face was the burning man screaming soundlessly and suddenly disappeared with the smell of burnt pork ribs. I gasped for air. My heart pounded in my chest like I had just finished my two-mile run. I went back to my room, took four shots of KY Bourbon, and went to sleep with the lights on. I dropped my retirement papers the next week to leave the army reserve. I live in Texas now. I will never ever return to Ft. Knox.

I work on Ft. Knox and take walks with my dog after work. This evening 2017/11/27 I was on the trail that parallels Wilson Road heading south towards Wilson Gate. I had just passed 11th Avenue away from the green space. There was full lume from the moon and clear skies. Most of the vegetation has died away, and you can see clear into the woods at night. I don't spook easily (infantry) in the dark, and my eyesight is good.
