Fort Knox, Kentucky Ghost Tales | |
|
I lived on Ft. Knox from '84 until '89 on 5th Ave. directly across from the parade field. There would be times where I thought I would see people on the field at night, but then they would quickly be gone. Also, me and friends would go exploring the old abandoned buildings where they did repairs on tanks and other vehicles. As a young boy these places were awesome to explore. One day I caught a dark figure out of the corner of my eye quickly duck into a room adjacent to the garage. As I walked towards the room, I caught a black mass at the top of a ladder leading to a small loft area. When me and a friend got up the courage to go up the ladder, there was nothing there. I was genuinely creeped out. I had turned very pale and all the hairs on my arms were standing on end. Submitted by Tony Categories: field, figures
I have lived in a house on Fort Knox for about two years and never had a problem. We moved to another part of post where the houses were renovated. The first night there my 5 year

old son told his dad that he saw a shadow next to his TV and in the middle of night his TV was turned off. I didn't think anything of it. One night about two months later I was walking into my dim bedroom when a red fog was floating midair. I thought I was running into to something and when I opened my eyes it was gone. Later that night I left the

room and came back into it and my TV was off while my children were asleep. A few hours later I was getting ready to fall asleep on the sofa and my channel switched up one channel and back down to the channel I was watching. I got my kids and left housing. Whatever is in that house knew I was scared and didn't care. Submitted by Christina Categories: home, fog, shadows
My husband, family and I are currently stationed at Fort Knox. While my mother was visiting for the holidays, she said she woke up during the night to go to the bathroom, but couldn't figure out if she could get past the person in the hall. When she started to ask if she could get passed(thinking it was my husband), this dark apparition started to dance down our hallway, then disappeared. We live in the Nort Dietz area, and at first I thought it was my grandfather trying to make contact, but later found out that was not the case!. Submitted by Karen Categories: figures, home

yrs. I have the Cannon fire before at night and I took my basic training there in 1962. Fort Knox Ky is a strange place with in its own self belive me. When living in Shepardsville, KY. I always thought the cannon fire was comming from the direction of the Knob Creek firing range in Bullett County, but have no proof of it. Submitted by J.D. Fish Sr Category: lights
