Also we see shadows and what looks like a girl peeking around the wall or doorway. Hear whispering conversations with no one near where it comes from. Countless things go on all the time. Hauntings on Brett Drive 568x.

8th Avenue is cursed. I lived there as a kid in the 70s, and I remember all the bad stuff happening in that middle house. It seemed like it was a revolving door with all families moving in and out. I remember when they took a few dead people out. I also remember one couple arguing in the back alley. The wife was crying and screaming about the house being evil. She was so scared. All she had on was bed shorts and a towel. She grabbed her kid and drove off just like that.
The husband talked to my dad and said he knew the house was bad, but they had to live there because of the army. We helped him move to an apartment in Muldraugh. As my dad and I were moving out the last boxes, the house got silent. Then suddenly it smelled like burnt sweet pork chops, and it also felt like there was no air. My dad said ''let's go,'' and we never went back in the house again. I hope they tear down that house. The scary one was apartment B, middle house on 8th Avenue.

8th ave is very scary the scariest place in Ft. Knox and maybe Hardin County. I've found stories of this area and hauntings in local lore on this website and in books in the library. I'm surprised no one has investigated the middle houses given all the stories related illnesses and deaths.
Driving by the houses at night the sky seems to get darker and the trees loom twisted against the sky. The street lights don't seem to work and the ground is broken and bumpy like an ancient grave yard in the field between the drive way and spearhead road.
