In January 2016 my family and I lived on 8th Avenue in the third house up on the right, up from Old Ironsides Road. I never saw anything, but our next door neighbor in Apt B in the house next to me kept swearing the house was haunted. Around the end of the month around midnight I was in my basement. I heard the next door neighbor scream. I looked out the back basement door, and he was out back pointing at the field behind our houses.
In the field there was a burning truck and burning men dressed in uniforms from the 1950s. I felt the heat and smelled the burning flesh. I closed my eyes, and then an ice cold wind blew, and everything was normal, except for a small ball of light that flew into my neighbor's house. Several neighbors saw what I saw. The next day MPs were at my next door neighbor's house. He had hanged himself in the basement. I told the MPs what we saw. The next week the entire block was moved out for renovations. My family moved into the old white house by the day care. Haven't seen anything since.

I lived on 8th Avenue from 1980 until 1986 as a platoon sergeant for a M1 Abrams tank platoon. I was stationed with 194th armor until they deactivated. I would come home at night after training and go through the basement to strip off my clothes and drop them in the wash. One night in January 1986 around midnight I was down in basement when suddenly I saw a flash of light zoom past my eyes. It looked like a small ball of light. When it zoomed by my head I suddenly felt like my skin had been soaked in gas, and I was in flames.
I started slapping my arms, but I wasn't on fire. It smelled like burning meat, and I remembered a tank fire when I was a young private at Ft Ord. The tank burned with everyone inside it, and it smelled like that in my basement. The next day I moved my family out to Muldragh and got a cheap apartment on Dixieland Highway. We left a few months later for Germany.
