I had no history on the house. Right after I moved in I started hearing noises in the kitchen. Things on the table in the kitchen would fall to the floor in the night. I'd be in bed but hear them fall. I have cats but a quick Check would find both cats in the bed too. The next morning whatever it was keys books whatever     would be on the floor. Also the cabinets would open by themselves. Even awake while in the kitchen the cabnets would open. I bought hook and eye latches and put on the outside. They'd just open right up unhook and the cabinet doors would open. Then I went to help a friend fix the house next door. It must have followed as one Day the spigots in the basement where the washer would go just opened right up spewing water onto the floor loud enough to hear upstairs.
