Guthrie, Kentucky Ghost Tales It was around fall a couple years ago when we were going to pick my sister up from a football game when we were driving on a road just outside guthrie when we saw a boy with no mouth and no arms and had brown hair and white shirt and jeans standing on a a dark road ...we only got a glipse and when we went back he was gone. There have been loads of occurrences with things from the other side. The   phantom of an elderly prospector with a sizeable beard and a wooden right leg can be observed time and again drifting down Dry Branch around midnight. In any case, this is a nasty phantom that you do not want to come across before dawn. The spirit of an old woman grasping a rifle is sometimes observed mounted on a low rider on a dark highway near Guthrie. Regardless of what, it's a chilling ghost that you shouldn't go trying to locate. The spirit of a flight attendant is known to have been observed on a small number of occasions in a Guthrie trailer.
