Hustonville, Kentucky Ghost Tales I have walked around hustonville at night all my life and have never seen anything out of the ordinary.  But just up the road in Moreland, you see alot of wierd stuff at night.  Me and my friend was walking down the train tracks one night.  When we got to the crossing at spears lane, we decided to take the road.  We had walked a couple of yards up the road when we saw something out of the corner of our eyes.  We had flashlights with us for some reason, and in this bush next to us were two red eyes, and at first we played it off like it was a cat or something.  We kept walking down the road and I looked behind       us and the eyes were following us over to the side of the road, almost on the ground.  So that made me think even more it was a cat or some small animal. So we started walking again, and as soon as we   started moving we heard loud footsteps, and we both looked back real quick and I was looking toward the ground for those eyes, and my friend took off running.  I looked up and about 200 feet from me where those eyes, but they were eye level with me in the middle of the road.  Just a pair of red eyes, no body. We ran about a mile non stop and looked back.  They were gone.  Alot of weird stuff like that happens around here.  You can be walking at night and its dead silence, and you will hear a scream like no other scream you have heard before come from the woods.  Some houses you go into, and you leave the kitchen to go the the other room, and a couple of seconds later you return to the kitchen and all the drawers, cabinets, and shelves are open or messed up in some way.  Just come down to Moreland and drive some backroads at night, stop, turn your car off, and just listen.
