Jackson, Kentucky Ghost Tales

  

Some friends and I went to explore the old Frozen Creek school once before they tore it down.  Some very strange things happened to us.  We heard things and I felt as if I was being watched.  It was a very creepy place.  I am including a photo from that night. - Ghost picture submitted by Shelly

One may feel that there's nothing peculiar about Jackson, Kentucky, but if you are easily startled, you'd best steer clear of this location during the dark hours. Things take place in this town that can't be rationalized. Several residents declare these reports are not true, but there in fact are creepy things going on here in Jackson during the night time.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.

A youthful girl having on a blood-covered wedding gown may repeatedly be spotted in Bailey Hollow around midnight trying to locate a book. In any case, this is a nasty phantom that should be let alone.

A gentleman with a sword in his head has every so often been spotted pulling a cadaver across the ground in The Cutoff at midnight. No matter what folks say, it's a chilling ghost that is preferably not disrupted.

A guy's body having the head of an animal is every now and then spotted smoking a cigar in a rubber boat on Panbowl Lake.

A womanly figure has been observed
 
    on frequent occasions drifting down on Bear Branch very late at night. Scores of people who live here argue this ghost enjoys frightening people who are bold enough to upset the silence in Jackson.

The ghost of a female having names cut into her forehead may once in a while be observed hauling a human headbone up on the pinnacle of Bald Hill.

A
  female with worms crawling out of her nose has regularly been observed going through the freezer in the kitchen of a Jackson mobile home late at night.

The phantom of a bound up female is rumored to have been seen on a few occasions before dawn stopping by Cedar Bend.

A woman clutching her head under her arm may frequently be witnessed near the entrance to Buckhorn Lake State Park attempting to say something. One thing is for sure, it certainly is a scary phantom that you wouldn't wish to encounter in the early morning hours before sunrise.

The ghost of a man having half his head missing may be distinguished time and again having a seat at the kitchen counter in a Jackson mobile home.

A headless lady has from time to time been observed staring at people in a Jackson trailer through a peephole.

The ghost of a 12 foot enormous guy is sometimes witnessed hitch-hiking in the middle of a gloomy highway in the neighborhood of Jackson.

The spirit of a teenage girl has been perceived on frequent occasions
dispatching a box at a Jackson post office.
