A lady with a machete in her head may repeatedly be made out viewing the panorama from the top of Barrett Hill late in the night. The ghost of a young-looking Indian combatant has sometimes been noticed hauling a dead body from the cold water of Barnett       Creek very late at night. A local person asserts that this ghost is that of a person who existed here in Livermore long ago. The ghost of a strong lumberjack gripping a sizeable axe is every so often spotted trying to locate a glove underneath a parked vehicle in a Livermore parking lot very late at night.
