The phantom of an old woman carrying a revolver showed up bass fishing from the shore of Panbowl Lake before dawn. There have been many tales involving this ghost in the area.
The ghost of an aged Indian chief was witnessed turning toward the watcher in Bailey Hollow at night. Further reports of this spirit have been conveyed.
