Lots of people who live here argue this       phantom is the undeparted spirit of a long dead New Hope local resident. The phantom of a nine foot massive giant has supposedly been perceived on a handful of instances calling out names of people up on the highest spot of Bald Knob. The ghost of a teenage girl may often be made out chatting into the thin air as if somebody besides was nearby.
