Perryville, Kentucky Ghost Tales I am a renactor and we was doing a living history at the park.  We camped there at night.  There was only four of us there.  I brought a EVP recorder and picked up a sound of a guy saying ''I've got''.  We heard different sounds through the night that was just weird.  Our flag was moving but no wind.  That place freaks me out. The ghosts of this settlement don’t leave anyone unalarmed. Not everyone believes in the tales the local residents tell, but Perryville is filled with struggling spirits just waiting to frighten you. These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently. The ghost of a guy outfitted as a plumber is from time to time perceived screaming at the witness to beat it in Perryville Battlefield State Park in the early morning hours before sunrise. According to the locals, this phantom may very well be       a distinguished old days dweller of Perryville. In any case, it's a scary ghost that is rather not messed with. The ghost of a man sporting a police force outfit may sometimes be spotted by Begley Branch flinging bricks. Based on what the locals allege, this spirit is perhaps the struggling spirit of a resident who used to have a home here in   Perryville. The ghost of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead is regularly witnessed scooping out a hole in Beckey Hollow very late at night. Scores of folks who live here claim this ghost is the undeceased soul of a long departed Perryville local.
