A local resident claims that this ghost is that of a local who settled here in Ransom many years ago. In any event, it sure is a frightening spirit that is better not messed with. A man with no head may sometimes be seen sobbing by Abbey Branch. Several of the residents allege this ghost likes scaring folks who come trying to find ghosts in Ransom.
