Scottsville, Kentucky Ghost Tales When I was in my teen's Me and my mom and dad lived on the Franklin road in A smal white house out in the chapel hill community.No one had talked about it being haunted until I found out by accident.One night I got up in the middle of the night and had opened the refrigirator and was drinking a coke and when I turned around an old woman was smiling at me wearing A blue dress and A bonnet on her head.She moved around like she was cleaning the house dusting and when she entered the second room she vanished. Submitted by Willie I used to rent an old farm house on West old state road. Its just down the road on the right after you pass Hurts Garage sale. I had heard it was haunted when I moved in but didnt believe it till one night I was laying on the bed  watching tv and A black shadow like figure started gliding across the room. It even slapped me once when I was asleep, I thought A moth was in my hair and I ran my fingers through my hair and something slapped my hand. Submitted by Willie My grandpa's old house just outside       down town near the smuckers factory was haunted. There was a constant haze in a corner and he said he heard voices calling into the house from outside. My dad one day saw a little old woman walking down a hall way while brushing his teeth this is when my dad was in his 30's. My cousin also has had conversations with a ghost my grandpa also said somethings   have happened that he will never talk about appearently after he moved he sold the house to an employee and she said that the ghost became very violent. Submitted by marshall In a old hospital on top of a hill in Scottsville doors have been known to slam as you walk by or while facing them. Aswell a guy with a deep voice has been heard yelling 'come here' as you're running out of the hospital. The ghost of a security guard with a bullet hole in his forehead is every so often observed downing water from Steenbergen Spring at midnight.
