Symsonia, Kentucky Ghost Tales Well I just moved out to Symsonia,Ky for the nice country setting and my boss lives across the street. He rented me a trailer behind the Old symsonia Elementary School located on Hwy.348 I lived there for 5 months and couldn't take another night. My fiancé and I would sometimes get into arguments and she would go lay on the couch. As she lays she hears foot steps on our porch. We've also been woke up in the middle of the night to our bed shaking. we would hear a loud jarring sound from the bedroom next to ours and the entire house shake afterwards(like a mini earthquake). I was told that the school       was turned into a mental challenged place called Caky. My fiancé has told my while I was at a bar one night she went to go lay in bed and at the time we had no curtains on our windows, she laid down and   seen a figure at the wood line (40 yards from house). She said it was staring dead at her and had a white looking top. she raised up and it was gone. Three days ago my parents and I went to the trailer to get the rest of my things, as we were pulling away my mother turned her head to the wood line in time to see a figure in a white looking jacket. As she went to say ''Cody there's someone out there'' it was gone. she told me it was like it just disappeared in thin air. My fiancé never told anyone about that figure besides myself and I had never spoke of it either. Freaky. Submitted by Cody Sinks I have lived in Symsonia, Ky my entire life(27 yrs).  I have seen many ghosts around here, but the ones in my back yard are amazing.  I was swimming in my pool late one night when I looked out across my yard and saw a light coming toward me.  As it got closer it took the form of a horse drawn carraige.  I could also see two men on horses chasing behind it.  It looked like a scene out of an old western.  I have seen many other ghosts around my yard dressed in older fashions. I also just recently found out that an old road used to run through my yard.
