There is a house out in Waterford they was built in the early 20th century. The driveway that's about 3/4 of a mile long and the owners claim it is impossible to keep it from getting washed out. I have walked this drive way more than once at night and just the walk up makes you feel uneasy like something is watching from the woods. Half way up is an old house that has almost fell to the ground. All around the house is old caves and the hill is a place where Indians use to live and that's what I believe haunts the woods and caves. Then the house itself is a remarkable one. A UofK built house made of 16 telephone poles and framed around it. It's even said that the hardwood floors is made from the old wildcat basketball court. One story of a young married couple was giving the house by her parents and she died is a car wreck on the way home one night and she still haunts the house and where there use to be a deck/stage you can see her standing looking at the house and that at night while you watch TV you can look over into the loft and see her

A number of folks who live here say there are no phantoms, but the phantoms of Taylorsville are out tonight trying to find somebody to terrify.
These are some of the spooky things that have happened here recently.
A shining human character is every now and then spotted strolling from trailer to trailer late in the night on a Taylorsville lane.
The phantom of a pregnant female is rumored to have been perceived on a small number of occasions up on Anderson Hill screaming. If you talk to the local residents, this spirit is possibly the undeparted spirit of a local resident who used to reside here in Taylorsville. In any case, this is an intimidating spirit that you wouldn't want to encounter before sunrise.
