The chilling phantom of a Barbarian showed       up in Kentucky Ridge State Forest late in the night climbing a high tree. Several sightings of this spirit have been described. A number of of the folks who live here declare this phantom is the undeceased soul of a long gone Trosper local. A man that turned into a vampire was witnessed speaking into the night by Bailey Branch. Numerous people   in close proximity have had comparable experiences involving a very similar phantom. It's been alleged that this exact ghost is the ghost of a vacationer that was murdered while journeying through Trosper many years ago. A fluorescent human figure was witnessed pulling a cadaver over rocks in Walker Memorial State Park on a dark night. This phantom is very active in this vicinity; there have been one or two other sightings of this specific phantom. According to the locals, this ghost is that of a local person who lived here in Trosper in the past. One thing's for certain, this phantom undeniably is bloodcurdling; one that you shouldn't go trying to find.
