Battle Creek, Michigan Ghost Tales

When I lived in Wyndtree Townhomes, my friends and I were taking pictures with my new digital camera. The apartments were old army barracs (we lived a quarter mile from the fort) and it was built on Indian burial grounds. Anyway, I took a picture of my friend and when I looked back at it, a soldier could be seen clearly behind her. When we moved out of our apartment to a house on N. McKinley Ave., he seemed to have followed me there. Often, I would glance behind me to see him looking at me or following me. Before we moved, however, I found a scrap of paper on my desk with the word 'Goodbye.'.

In my old house we have had numerous ghost sihgtings, here are a few:
1. My brother, 3 years old at the time would sit alone in his room, just laughing at nothing, and wjen
we would ask him what he was laughing about he would say 'Batman', he said that there was this little old man who would come in his room and play with him, and he was a very funny man, but everytime one of us walked in, he would get scaared and leave.
2. Another happening wasn't really a happening necessarily, it was a dream that my mother had. In her dream, we were all sitting on our couch watching our saturday morning cartoons when all of a sudden the power went out, then it came back on, and then it started going on and off, so my mom and uncle grabbed a flashlight, and went in the basement to
find out what was going on and when they got down there, there was this man standing at the power box laughing, and flicking the switch on and off, she then woke up and seen the shadow of a man walking out of her bedroom. The next morning she called her friend up who brought over a picture of her father. When my mom saw that she said that that was the man in her dream, and when my little brother saw it he said, 'Momy, that's Batman.'
3. The third happening that I'm going to tell you about is our telephone. Everytime my mom would call my grandma, they would be talking and all of a sudden out of nowhere this hysterical laughter would come out of every speaker in the house. (TV, stereo, phones, headphones, ect.) and after about the 3rd time we were pretty freaked out so we unpluged the phone and wrapped the cord around it and drove it over to our grandmas, we wanted nothing to do with it. The following weekend I went to stay with my grandma, and that night the phone rang (the haunted one) but it wasn't pluged in. I woke up my grandma and told her and she slowly picked it up and said 'Hello?' but the was no answer, just some static and then it went dead. After that the phone got smashed and that was the end of it.
