Blanchard, Michigan Ghost Tales When I was about 8 years old living on Main Street, Blanchard MI. I many times would hear and feel things that were not normal around the house. Many times would I hear knocking on the door leading up to the upstairs. My Mother one night woke up to a tall man staring at her in bed. We then found that the man had killed himself in the house after finding out that his wife was cheating on him. My mother never saw the ghost after that. My sister once walking down the stairs feel before she even lifted her feet. She swears that she was pushed down the stairs. A month later I was playing Hide and Seek with my sister. I had chosen to hide up stairs in the Closet. When I got in the closet it was as cold as a winter day, but it had been in the middle of the summer. Later after that we moved out the house. An old couple moved into the house. They had witnessed the same things that My Family and I had. The couple had the house blessed. I am now 14 and still live in Blanchard. I still believe that something is wrong with house. After doing research about       this house I found that the house was built over a morgue. I believe that the house is being haunted by ghost's that died and the old man that killed himself in the house.
