As to the piano inside the home, it is not original to the house, and was owned by the last two generations of the family to inhabit the residence- the Colley family. Since the Colley family took possession of the home around 1902, the home has frequently been referred to as ''the Colley Mansion. '' However, in     speaking with dozens of elderly local townsfolk,and even more local residents (I too was born and raised in Boyne City), I have never heard the name ''LeRoy Manor'' attached to this home. Perhaps because the LeRoy family never owned or resided there? Attached, you will find a photograph of the home at the end of LeRoy Street in its heyday. To me it even looks a little spooky back then! LOL There is no doubt in anyone’s mind, my own included, that the house at the end of LeRoy Street is ''haunted'' in some way.
