Custom Search Calumet, Michigan Ghost Sightings Calumet PAGE 1   2   3     When looking at a Home to buy in Calumet both me and my wife detected a Strong urine smell when going up the staircase. I would say it was a human urine smell and I am pretty sure the previous occupants did not have pets. The Home had been unoccupied for about 2 years. When we returned over a week later to get a second look at the House before making an offer there was no urine smell. The steps were not carpeted and     I could not detect any trace of the smell when I got close to the steps and sniffed from top to bottom. We ended up buying the House and are Happy here but could never figure out why the smell was there that day. I have never experienced the smell since. The Only other unexplained occurrences are things disappearing from the House of minor importance. I have always Felt good in the House so if it is haunted I think the ghost is OK with us being there. The House is old and people that believe in ghosts would definitely wonder if it had any.
