before the days on cell phones and internet). I went next door into the parents' room to answer that phone. All I got was static. I then went back into the kids' room to console Chad and his little brother. Again the phone rings, and again it was static.
By this time all the pieces of the puzzle are finally coming together in the metaphoric form of one big light bulb hovering over the top of my head. I just ''knew'' something wasn't right. I knew

Chad wasn't making this up, and I knew I sensed someone/something was with us and was messing with us. This was when the phone rang for the third time.

I honestly to this day still to this day don't know why, but I once again went to answer it in the parents' room and, yet again, nothing but static. Then I went into the parent's room and UNPLUGGED THE PHONE FROM THE WALL OUTLET. Then, I kid you not, before I could leave the parents' room, that phone hand set RANG! That was it.
I grabbed both kids and ran like a bat out of hell down the stairs. I came down to the dog growling and barking with a fixate
