My youg son and I were both fixated at the walking because he was staring at the ceiling just like I was... I went ahead and took care of his business and put him in bed wth my wife and I. I got back up a few minutes later just to see if the boys could be roused up .. But I knew it wasn't either one of them. Several     years later I was having a discussion with one of their girlfriends and they too had the same encounter with a person running up the stairs. She thought it was my son but when she got to his room she asked him why did he run from her and his response was '' I've been sitting here since you left''. Nothing as of late has happened but I know for sure what I heard and saw on those two occasions.
